Early Life

Ashraful Sifat (born January 2002) is a Bangladeshi photographer and visual artist, widely recognized as ChobirKobi – ছবিরকবি. Born and raised in Narail. He now resides in Dhaka with his family of five members. He is the beloved youngest son of Md. Jahangir Alam and Afroza Alam.

Career and Passion

Ashraful Sifat, better known by his artistic identity ChobirKobi – ছবিরকবি, is an accomplished photography artist. He shares his passion for photography and cinematography through his YouTube channel and Facebook page, both under the name ChobirKobi – ছবিরকবি. Over the past few weeks, his page has grown rapidly, surpassing 10,000 followers, thanks to several viral and widely acclaimed photo shoots.

With an unwavering love for visual storytelling, Sifat captures moments that transform into timeless memories. He is known for his friendly nature, though he maintains a balanced personality—not overly extroverted yet deeply connected with those around him. His kindness and willingness to help others further highlight his compassionate character.

Academic Life

Ashraful Sifat’s academic journey began at Narail South East Model Government Primary School, where he completed his Primary School Certificate (PSC) in 2013. He continued his education at Narail Government Boys’ High School, earning his Junior School Certificate (JSC) in 2016 and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 2018. Demonstrating his commitment to academic excellence, he completed his Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from Narail Government Victoria College in 2021. Currently, Ashraful Sifat is pursuing his Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Media Studies and Journalism (MSJ) at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB).

In 2020, he was honored at the Second National Contest & Exhibition, organized by the Narail Photographic Society, where he received the Best Street Photographer Award. This prestigious recognition has further fueled his ambition and dedication to his craft, inspiring him to push the boundaries of visual storytelling.

In 2023, he earned the title of Best Photographer of Narail at the Tomar Chokhe Bangladesh National Contest. This remarkable achievement highlights his creative vision and commitment to the art of photography, motivating him to keep exploring new perspectives and telling powerful visual stories through his work.
